Consider expanding your view of religion to include any set of beliefs with rituals and practices. Pretty soon you realize that everyone is religious. Religion isn't necessarily bad. (Consider James 1:27, written by one of Jesus's brothers... "Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you." I'm down with that religion!)

I think we can agree that the religion of rules-free-market capitalism has destroyed more lives than any other in history.
