I'll be honest, Robert, I'm having a hard time taking your comments seriously. For instance, it's extremely hyperbolic to say getting offline won't "solve anything." It solves all sorts of things-- eye strain, gardening, or in my case, making eye contact with my newborn. (Though, I'm not sure why "getting offline" is what you gleaned from this article. This is about ownership, not offline-ness.)
And you're wrong, there are real, sustainable options for running the economy, but no corporatist will let them happen.
But we certainly agree : a non-corp-controlled internet.
