I'm sorry that you haven't yet come to the realization that, for the past oh 6,000 years or so, governments use appropriate (and sadly often inappropriate) force to exert the will of the (people/king/whoever's in charge.)
Every democracy, IE the people, should get to decide the level of force necessary to restrain people from murdering each other.
If a thinking democracy came to the realization that usury is mathematically and socially unsustainable, it has every right to exert force (ie declaring usury illegal and then fining people who break the law.) I'm sorry this is too "forceful" for you, but the alternative is serfdom and then tyranny, so you can suck a bag of lemons. ;)
The only free market is democracy.
