In nations/states/cities with insufficient housing (so: most of the Western world), every family home that gets turned into a full-time Airbnb means one less home available for families. It's basic math. Severely limited supply + massively increased demand = inevitable homelessness for the poorest of the poor. It's heartbreaking, and altogether preventable.
