It's wildly naive to think it's two bad apples. Obama had a supermajority and didn't "accidentally" drop the ball... he did exactly what his sponsors told him to do-- betray the working class in favor of capital.

(I also reject the claim of "generalizations" when the actual facts show that Dems take more dark money than Repubs.)

The solution isn't to lean into a corporate-corrupted party. It's to start a new one that demolishes both sides of the aisle. (Or, ideally, fire all the politicians and try actual democracy.)
