I've given this a bit of thought- my hunch is that total product transparency is the key. The algorithm could rank products with a sustainable score and charge cheaper rates or discounted shipping to eco stuff.

But I think enforcing sustainability will ultimately need to be done by the commons/government outside of trade. It's simply unacceptable to rape the earth and it should be illegal.
