I hear you, Andrew. But inflation doesn't hurt asset-rich billionaires compared to working folk. As Elon Musk is so belligerently proving, billionaires will fight tooth-and-nail to make us pay the full cost of civilization for as long as possible.

As I say in the piece, I am certain the ship has sailed on meaningfully taxing billionaires. Only time will tell.
