1. Agreed, but that's not what the corporatists are pushing.

2. There is data that goes both ways on this. Some of the healthiest people alive are carnivores/paleo types.

3. Efficiency isn't the only thing that matters, but I hear you.

4. We could supply the world's protein from a single city of skyscraper food factories, but it doesn't mean we should. I like the idea of taking cues from nature on how many humans there should be.

6. Pre-historic peoples also didn't live very long. Appeals to nature can always go both ways.

7. I absolutely agree. We need billions less humans and ancient ways of procuring meat that improve the soil.
