The fact that you can read through an article that lays out a number of the things that are deeply wrong with Airbnb, and can't look at the trajectory of the company and see the devastation it's causing... dude, that's the literal definition of callousness.

Airbnb (and all rent-seeking) is serfdom. It's the kind of hyper-individualist self-centeredness that I'm hoping we can purge from our hearts as a society.
