There are major differences, between the two structures, the biggest being that a real family business doesn't extract profit from workers. If a family business becomes a corporation, it is no longer a family business. Clearly, there comes a point when companies cross the Rubicon and become anti-commons. I think that's where democracy should draw the line. I'm pro-business, insofar as business is pro-people and planet.
