"There's so much wrong I don't know where to start" is what lazy people say when they don't have legitimate and compelling reality-based answers to facts about long-established historical exploitations.

You don't understand the sentence. Ban land-lording and house prices fall significantly. People will pay half as much to own as they current do to rent. This is better for humanity if your goal is widest-spread wellbeing. (Which of course, is not what land-lorders want at all.)

Land-lording is usury. Argue with 6,000 years of human history if you have a problem with reality.
