They believe this is a survival-of-the-fittest game. Once the masses are in ghettos (they're projecting 3 billion in slums within our lifetime), it will simply be a game of thrones between the top ~3000 families for winner-take-all. In other words, they don't actually see the long-game and are just focused on winning today.
