Yeah, your intellectual blinders helped you missed the entire point here, Jan. Right now, corporate banks own the houses. I'd like the individual human people to own all the houses. Not once in the piece did I say "the state should own all the housing." (Not that various levels of democratic governments couldn't and shouldn't help house people, but I literally mentioned spinning them off the government books.) But I'm sorry you're so terrified of social democracy that you can't see it.
