You missed a key point, Johnnie-- if there is no God, then all fictions are equal fictions. (Or rather, all fictions are equal fictions and the strongest make their fictions survive. Thus, the corporatist mess we find ourselves in.)
The God fiction is no more or less sane than the non-God fiction-- though, I'd argue the fact that stuff exists versus nothing existing tilts the scales slightly more in favor of there being a creator than not a creator...
Justice is a spiritual concept; only real justice will see Trump behind bars or stop wars.
Trade unions are just serfs begging asset-hoarders for a bit more bread. Unions get more pay -> corporations raise prices to recoup -> repeat. Insanity is doing the same thing and expecting different results.
