You're absolutely right on the first paragraph, Jamie.

Re: P2, there are certainly costs and benefits to every economic model, but in this case, the downsides far outweight. (Also the carbon footprint line is nonsense because emissions are based on consumption, not legal ownership. IE Someone who uses a taxi creates emissions without owning the cab.)

Corporatism is certainly being pitched as communalism. The "shared" economy is one of the least-true phrases ever constructed.
