You're right, Ryan, this is caused by rules-free-market capitalism. Now notice Maester's hyper-reactionary (and super boring) reflexive response. He's trying to make you an extremist like himself. But it won't work, because you aren't stupid, and see that he's offering a false dichotomy: rules-free-market capitalism vs dictatorial communism. Little does he realize that both structures end up at the exact same place, and we should therefore seek a rationale middle ground.
